MyVersion LLC d.b.a. MyVersion Publishing (“MyVersion,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides personalized Bible-based scripture declaration books in print, digital, and audio formats through MyVersionBook.com, and a mobile and web application (the “App”) available at app.myversionbook.com.
By using our website, purchasing our products, downloading or accessing the App, or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
1. Overview of Services
MyVersion provides:
- Personalized scripture declaration books (print and digital)
- Audiobooks
- A mobile and web App that delivers scripture personalized with your name and gender
- Individual topic purchases within the App
- Subscription access to all available topics within the App
Our content is based on the Bible and is presented in a personalized format for devotional purposes.
2. Personalization Disclaimer
The App and books insert your selected name and gender into biblical verses and scripture-based declarations for devotional engagement. Personalization does not alter the original biblical meaning but reformats the text for personal application.
3. Account Registration
To access personalized content in the App, you must provide a first name and select a gender. You may optionally provide a mobile phone number for order-related communications. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
Individual Topic Purchases
When you purchase an individual topic in the App:
- You receive access to that topic within the App, tied to your account.
- Access is non-transferable and linked to the account used at time of purchase.
- Digital purchases are non-refundable.
Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
The App offers auto-renewable subscription plans that provide access to all available scripture topics:
- Monthly subscription — billed monthly at the price displayed at the time of purchase.
- Annual subscription — billed annually at the price displayed at the time of purchase.
What you receive: Unlimited access to all scripture topics in the App, personalized with your name and gender, for the duration of your active subscription period.
Billing and renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access until that date. Subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period.
Free trials: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
If your subscription lapses: Access to subscription-based content is removed. Previously purchased individual topics remain accessible.
Subscription management:
- Apple App Store subscribers: Manage your subscription at Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iOS device.
- Google Play subscribers: Manage your subscription at Google Play > Account > Subscriptions.
Restore Purchases: If you have previously purchased topics or a subscription and they are not reflected in the App, use the “Restore Purchases” option available in the App’s Profile screen to restore your purchases.
5. Physical and Custom Orders
Custom printed books are made to order. Because they are personalized, printed books are non-refundable unless defective upon arrival. Digital products and audiobooks are non-refundable.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, including personalized scripture formatting, App design, branding, logos, audio recordings, and written declarations, is the property of MyVersion LLC and is protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce content for resale, copy App content for redistribution, or reverse engineer personalization systems.
7. No Medical, Legal, or Financial Advice
Our scripture declaration books and App are devotional resources and are not intended as medical advice, mental health treatment, legal advice, or financial advice. Always seek licensed professionals for those needs.
8. Termination of Access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, attempt to misuse personalization systems, or engage in fraudulent activity.
9. Limitation of Liability
MyVersion LLC is not liable for indirect damages, data loss caused by third-party platforms (Apple, Google, Stripe), or temporary service interruptions. Use of our website and App is at your own risk.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the website or App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
